Are the comments on your Ads getting you down? Autohide them all!

Ads can now automatically be added to your Post Autohide list, while leaving organic comments alone

Anything can happen in the comment section when new ads start running, especially when targeting new audiences. But finding out the audience turn out to be comprised of a flock of vocal trolls is the last thing anyone wants to see on a Sunday morning.

Now you can use CSE to automatically add new ads to the post autohide list, which will automatically hide all comments on these new ad posts, allowing you to limit their reach before you have a chance to review them.

You’ll find this setting in the Ads section of the drawer menu. Just activate it, and when any new ads are detected, they will automatically be added to the autohide list.

Strategy: it makes sense to put the "Autohide status” setting to “Smart” (uses past hidden comment history to predict if the next comment should be hidden) or “Strict” (any prior hidden comments) to ensure that if these new people start spamming the rest of your Page’s posts, those comments will be automatically hidden too.

Now you can sleep late on the weekends without needing to read the comments until after your morning coffee!
